Introduces
Online Courses for Small Business Owners

Northeast Iowa Community College (NICC) has a program that makes it
easy to take high-quality, continuing education online courses. NICC
partners with ed2go to offer hundreds of online, instructor-facilitated
courses and is pleased to announce the launch of a series of courses
for small business owners. These courses will teach entrepreneurs and
small business owners the skills they need in employment law,
accounting fundamentals, effective selling, marketing on the internet,
creating business plans and more.
Courses for small business owners are part of NICC's growing catalog of
more than 300 instructor-facilitated online continuing education
courses.Through well-crafted lessons, expert onlineinstruction and
interaction with fellow students, participants in these courses gain
valuable knowledge at their convenience. They have the flexibility to
study at their own pace and receive enough structure and support to
successfully complete the course. Students can access the classroom
24/7 from anywhere with an internet connection.
New sessions are scheduled to start on Jan. 20 and Feb. 17. They last
six weeks, with two new lessons being released weekly (for a total of
12). The courses are entirely web-based with comprehensive lessons,
quizzes and assignments. A dedicated professional instructor
facilitates every course to pace learners,
answer questions, offer feedback, and facilitate discussions.
