Friday Deadline to Apply for Local Flood Relief Posted 15 July 2008 This Friday, July 18, is the deadline for individuals to apply for assistance related to the 2008 Winneshiek County Flood Relief Program. The program is a combined effort of the United Way of Winneshiek County, Northeast Iowa Community Action and the Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce. To date, more than $22,000 has been raised to assist county residents affected by recent flooding. Application forms may be picked up at the Decorah Chamber office, all area bank locations and Decorah City Hall.
